When did I get old? Was it when I turned the big 5-0? I feel old and I look old. And I find myself being old.
The other night I was reading and looked at my watch. Oh dear, I must get to the DVD player so I could still watch a couple of episodes of Murder, She Wrote. Yes, MSW! When the show was on TV, I wouldn't watch that "old peoples" show! Now I must be one of those "old people"!
And driving. I drive the speed limit. I use my turn signals. I would rather not drive at night. When did I become an "old" driver? At least I can still see over the steering wheel!
Mah Jongg. I actually want to learn how to play this "old lady" game. My mother wanted to teach me, but no way was I going to play a game my mother and her "old lady" friends played! Now that I am an "old lady" I wanna play! But I don't want to play and have to drive home at night!
Gray hair? I have them. Lot's of them. And I don't care. That has to be a sign of old ladiness...isn't it?
When did I get old? I'll try and nail it down...after watching a few more episodes of Murder, She Wrote.
Until next time...

If you are old, what am I? I never thought about getting older. Leave seems to be so short when you get older. Oh well!!!
I guess if I'm old you're ancient! bwahahahaha
My turning point was a few years ago when I was called "Sir" at the store. And I still have a problem when the ask to help push my cart to the parking lot for me. It makes me feel old to say yes...even if I sometimes need the help!
I hope you are well "old" friend :)
Peace B
